Meet our Team

Originally from Marin County, California, Dr. Lauren Nekota decided to make Portland her permanent home after graduating from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has developed a special interest in preventative health, neurology, soft tissue surgery, and diagnostic imaging and is happy to practice in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. When she’s not working, Dr. Nekota enjoys hiking in Forest Park with her dog, Suki, touring the amazing food and wine scene with her boyfriend, Nathan, and cuddling up with a book and her cat, Waffle.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Abby Juszkiewicz graduated undergrad from The University of Michigan. Go Blue! Before moving to the PNW to attend veterinary school at Oregon State she spent several years living in Key West, FL. Her veterinary interests, aside from cuddling puppies and kittens, includes clinical pathology, diagnostic imaging, and surgery. When not in the office Dr. Juszkiewicz enjoys hiking, canoeing, and camping with her dog Sparky, or binging Netflix with her cat Bonez. Occasionally she cuts loose with some karaoke and is happy to call Oregon home.

Dr. Morgan Movius grew up in the Beaverton area and graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After an internship at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine she returned to her roots in Oregon. She is passionate about general practice and has special interests in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dermatology. In her free time Dr. Movius enjoys exploring the outdoors, baking, and swimming. She lives with her cat Dorothy who enjoys birdwatching and scratching the couch.

Reid grew up with a menagerie of animals. She has taken her boards, received her certification in veterinary technology, and has several years of experience working in small animal veterinary practices.

She has a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Kacie and a very old, sweet kitty named Artemis. Reid is very excited about learning and growing in the field of veterinary medicine.

Hi, My name’s Natalie and I’m SO excited to be working with everyone! I grew up in Texas before moving to Minnesota for college, (extreme heat to extreme cold!) and then decided Portland was a happy medium this past August. So far so good!

Katie has been working with animals for over four years and finds each day rewarding. With over 900 hours of community service, she enjoys spending her free time with animals as well. In her spare time, Katie finds entertainment in enriching her animal services knowledge, playing video games, and hanging out with her pet, Mr. Boo. She also enjoys training emotional support cats and rabbits. She is a certified CCMA & CPT and looks forward to continuing her career and education in animal services with plans to go back to school in a couple years to be a vet.

My name is Andrew. I was born and raised in Tyler Tx and lived in Dallas Tx from time to time as well. I’ve been in veterinary medicine for about 8 years now. I have 1 dog and 1 cat. Me and my fiancée have a beautiful baby girl and have dreamed about moving to Oregon for years now. I love animals and what I do and can’t wait to help your loving pets.

Hello! My name is Sunny, I am a PNW local, a dedicated furbaby mom and a true lover of all animals, I was brought into this field by working for a local rescue shelter, and then got the opportunity to work in an animal hospital as a CSR for three years. I value having a job in client relations because I have a deep passion for human connections, outside of work, I am a movie watcher, a camper, and a lover of all things SPOOKY!  I am so honored to be a part of the Community Pet Hospital Team!

Originally from Sacramento, CA, Jacie decided to make Oregon her home after graduating from Southern Oregon University. Jacie grew up around animals and has always wanted to work with them. While this is her first experience in the field, Jacie is excited to learn more about the inner workings of a veterinary field. When she is not working, Jacie likes to spend time with her dog Bodie and tend to her miniature porch garden. Jacie loves to draw and will often be the person writing notes on the Clinics whiteboard!
